Books of 2019

Happy New Year, bookdragons! It’s that time again—the time for chatting about all the things we read in 2019! Most bookdragons I’ve met are curious creatures, always poking their noses into others’ bookshelves and looking for more reads to add to their hoard. So I’m happy to oblige.

Buckle up, because I have 45 books to roll out for you, along with mini reviews (yay!) and geeky readerly stats!

Subplots & Storylines – November/December 2019

Okay, everyone’s saying it, but I have to agree—how crazy is it that this decade is over?! Looking back, the 2010s contained the most transformative part of my life so far… the decade in which I grew up. (Hey there, fourteen-year-old me.) Most of you would probably say something similar.

Buuuut let’s save the ruminations about 2020 for another post! We have just enough time to chat about the end of 2019, or more specifically, what November and December looked like in my little corner of the world.

Know the Novel Part 3-Dead Magic

Well, guys, I’ve been an inconsistent blogger over the past month and a half, popping in and out of here and skipping some weeks. But the biggest reason for that absence is why we’re here today—to talk about NaNoWriMo ONE LAST TIME! Because naturally, NaNo swallowed up November, and recovery + holiday busyness has made the first half of December rather full as well.

So! I’m using the final phase of Christine Smith’s Know the Novel link-up to chat about Dead Magic: how it went, what happens now, and what I want to say to YOU. (Read to the end! <3 )
